TOMORROW'S OUTLOOK: Sample Of VIRGIN STEELE Cover Posted Online

May 23, 2009

Norwegian metallers TOMORROW'S OUTLOOK have posted a 60-second clip of their VIRGIN STEELE cover, "Victory Is Mine", featuring Norman "Ski" Kiersznowski (FAITH FACTOR, ex-DEADLY BLESSING) on vocals. The band says, "The mix is not 100% done yet, but it's still very representative as we ain't gonna change much for the final mix".

The production, as always, was handled by Colin Davis at Imperial Mastering.

"Victory Is Mine" will be included on the upcoming "By The Gods: A Noble Tribute to Virgin Steele" collection, due later in the year. The project was organized by Matthew Knight from ETERNAL WINTER, who has personally spoken with VIRGIN STEELE singer David DeFeis about the album. DeFeis supports it and they will be working together to make it happen. David is currently helping negotiate with record labels to release the album.

"By The Gods: A Noble Tribute to Virgin Steele" will include the following tracks, among others:

TOMORROWS OUTLOOK (NOR) - "Victory Is Mine"
CYCLOPHONIA (NOR) - "We Rule The Night"
BATTLERAGE (CL) - "The Fire God"
ARMORY (USA) - "Love Is Pain"
CRYSTAL VIPER (POL) - "Obsession (It Burns For You)"
ETERNAL WINTER (USA) - "Crown Of Glory"
NOBLE SAVAGE (ITA) - "The Burning Of Rome (Cry For Pompeii)"
CRUSADE OF STEEL (GR) - "Weeping Of The Spirits"
POSEIDONS ANGER (USA) - "Symphony Of Steele"

The project is still in its very early stages as of right now. Any bands who wish to contribute to the album, get in contact with Matthew. You can reach him through MySpace, or email: [email protected].
